Happy Wednesday my friends! I can’t believe it’s already mid March as I type this. The time change always kicks my butt but gosh it makes me so excited for SPRING! Even if it did snow here last night! Lol.
When the spring and summer months are approaching, I always like to give my wardrobe a little refresh- including my athletic wear drawers! I could be wrong, but I think it’s scientifically proven that wearing a cute outfit and accessories to the gym makes it 10 times easier to get yourself out the door and go! Or at least that’s how it works for me.
I am so excited to share some of my favorite + affordable gym must haves for you and hopefully get you as excited as I am about these spring workouts!
This tank is one of my favorites! It’s soft, comfortable, and SO flattering! Its very similar to the lululemon align tank, but for a fraction of the price and comes in so many colors. It washed so well and I own it in many different colors- I couldn’t recommend this more!
When you go to the gym, no matter what, you need a good water bottle! I love my stanley cup, but taking it to the gym can be cumbersome. I love this water bottle. Its lightweight, has a fast flow, is BPA free, and it’s so cute! Its perfect to throw in my gym bag.
Leggings are my favorite things to work out in, but not all leggings are created equally! These leggings have passed the squat test and are so comfortable too! They are another lululemon dupe to the lululemon aligns, but again- a fraction of the price! They are so buttery soft and perfect for both the gym and lounging.
These gym shoes are the priciest item on my list, but they are well worth the price! They are cross trainers, which are great for all the things I like to do at the gym. From running to weight lifting, it’s nice to have a pair of shoes that works for everything! Lifting in running shoes and vice versa isn’t great for your body, so I think it’s worth the price to spend a bit more on just one pair of shoes for the gym.
I love these resistance bands! They are not only cute, but they are functional and inexpensive! They come with 4 different resistances and they are less than $20. I love doing different glute workouts with these and you can even use them for a quick home workout!
Finally, I love these cable ankle straps. I don’t know about your gym, but the equipment at mine is always being used and can often be sweaty from other people. I love that I have these for myself. They are comfortable and I am confident I am not getting other people’s sweat all over myself. Lol. These aren’t a necessity, but I will tell you my husband surprised me with these a few years ago and I have loved having these!
These are some of my absolute favorites and I used each of these items weekly, if not daily when I go to the gym! I love that most of these items can be used at a home gym or a traditional gym and it helps that they are all super cute too. Tell me below, what are your favorite things for the gym? Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments!
Have the best week friends!
