Hello friends and happy LAST Friday in July! How?! I say this every year but the summer truly does fly by. I have a love hate relationship with the end of the summer, but something I truly always look forward to about school starting back up is the structure and schedule it brings to my family. I also love getting everything ready for the upcoming year, including outfits!!
This year is no different, and while I am sad to see summer coming to a close, I am so excited to get back into a routine and to bust out all my new clothes for the year! I put together a few OOTD’s for you guys that I am loving to get you started if you are stuck on where to start back to school shopping, both from Walmart!
First we have a classic teacher look, a blouse and slacks. Seems simple enough but you guys know I like to brighten things up!!
First we have the slacks. These are perfect for teaching because they are true work pants, but I love the pop of coral, especially if you arent ready to give up summer just yet!
I love having a few staple blouses in my closet that I can mix and match with different looks, and I love this cute white blouse! This one has flutter sleeves which I love but still remains basic enough to wear with many different looks!
These earrings are so cute and just make me smile! I love to add a bright and fun accessory to my look and the cute boho rainbows are so in, especially for teachers!
You guys know I love to teach in heels (hence the name), but I know many are not a fan of super high heels! I am so glad I found these block heels. They are not too tall but still look very classy and totally elevate the look!
The mug isn’t something you can wear, but who doesn’t want to add a matching coffee to your adorable back to school outfit? I love this one because it has a snap lock lid and can keep things hot for 8 hours and cold for a whopping 22 hours!
Next, we have a more causal outfit that I also just love. This one is giving me Friday vibes and I am so here for it!
If you don’t have a go to jean jacket, this is the one for you! I love a good jean jacket. It can truly be work during so many different seasons and looks adorable with so many different looks! Also super helpful for when you need a layering piece!
Tee-shirt dresses are the combination of the best of both worlds- tee shirts and flowy dresses! I have a handful of these and I love this purple color. Its bright and fun while still looking professional.
Everyone needs a good pair of white tennis shoes, and these are perfect! I love pairing my white tennis shoes with dresses for a casual and comfortable outfit!
Finally we have a trusty + cute claw clip. I have had hair of all lengths and I continue to reach for my claw clip no matter what length my hair is! They are so nice to throw in your hair when you want an easy hairstyle but also great to keep in your bag or desk when you need your hair out of your face without dealing with the creases from a ponytail holder!
I think the best part of each of these pieces is that they are all at such an affordable price point. I love Walmart for that reason. You can spruce up your back to school wardrobe without breaking the bank! Which pieces do you need for back to school? Let me know!
