Dressing for work in the fall is all about layers for me. I deal with three different temperatures throughout the day… cold in the morning, hot in the afternoon, and who knows in my classroom! I’m a sucker for a good blazer, and this oversized boyfriend blazer had me with all the cute fall colors. I love that I’ll be able to wear this with jeans on the weekend too. I think the boyfriend style is a great blazer for tall women since it is a bit more oversized. But it also works on shorter gals like me!
If you’re not a fan of the boyfriend fit, this burgundy blazer is more of a fitted style and perfect for work. It comes in a bunch of colors, but I love that I can pair this one with a variety of colors. Looks great with a pencil skirt or black pants.
On days that it’s chilly but still too warm for a sweater, I like going with a lightweight long-sleeve blouse. I gravitate towards polka dot prints, so when I saw that this blouse came in polka dots, I quickly added it to my cart. I also highly recommend checking out these tie-waist pants. They are super comfortable but polished and professional. The perfect black pants for teachers.
