Kohl’s has always been one of my go-to stores. I mean, they have everything! From home decor, to children’s clothing and toys, to kitchen essentials, and of course, shoes and apparel. It’s a one stop shop for me and I love that I can find pajamas or a wedding guest dress all in the same place.

Today, I’m rounding up some of my favorite Kohl’s finds for the summer. These are easy to wear pieces that don’t cost a fortune and can take you from running around with your kids to date night!

Basic Tees

These SO tie tees are lightweight and perfect to beat the summer heat. If the knot isn’t your style, they do untie and are a good length. These are junior sizing, but don’t let that fool you. They run quite big. I sized down to a small in these.

Essential Tees, Tanks and Shorts

These v-neck tees are a bit different and are by the Sonoma brand, which is misses sizes. These are a little thicker and fit slightly big. I did end up sizing down to a small in these. I loved them so much that I bought them in three prints.

These red utility shorts also run big, so I would recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes. These are lightweight and comfortable for summer. I also appreciated the length.

These berry colored utility shorts are slightly different. They have a button instead of a drawstring and some additional pockets. These also come in a bunch of colors, but I could not resist the berry print. These run a bit more true to size over the red ones, but I still would have preferred a 6 instead of an 8. I think this brand just runs big in general.

How fun is this color combo? These long tanks are super stretchy and come in a bunch of colors. This was a little too long to wear with these shorts but nothing a good ole tuck couldn’t fix! These fit TTS.

Dressy Tanks

My husband and I have finally been able to enjoy a few date nights on the patios of some of our go-to restaurants. These lightweight tanks are perfect for date night but will also double as a great layering piece for work. I did not have to wear a cami with the white one, but a nude bra is recommended.

T-Shirt Dresses

Another summer staple that’s a must have is a good t-shirt dress. I’ve tried ones from Old Navy and Walmart, but they were a bit too short, even for my 5’3 frame. These t-shirt dresses by Sonoma are perfect. They are thick enough and not see-through, and the length is great. I’m wearing a small in the yellow and a medium in the white striped. I preferred the fit of the small, but I will be cautious of drying it as it is cotton and could shrink.

Comfy and Casual

Our summer isn’t as busy this year with everything going on, so I find myself in comfy clothes most days of the week. These graphic tees are so soft and stretchy, and I love the fit. I’m wearing my normal size medium and found them to fit TTS. They come in a bunch of graphics, but I couldn’t resist this cute saying. I’ll definitely be wearing this tee to work as well.

These lightweight joggers are heaven. Perfect for cooler morning walks. These are junior sizing, so stick with your true size or go up one if you don’t want them as fitted. I’m in my true size medium.

This super soft hoodie is perfect for those cooler summer nights. Again, very soft and comfortable and fits TTS if not slightly big.

There you have it! My Kohl’s top picks for summer. These will keep you cool and on budget!
