I’ve received the sweetest comments from readers saying, “Can I just take you shopping with me?”  What a dream job that would be! For now, tag along with me as I show you my current faves from Target.

I love that Target carries a variety of brands. My three favorite brands are Universal Thread, Who What Wear, and A New Day. Universal Thread is a bit more casual, Who What Wear is a bit more dressy, and A New Day has a little bit of both. All are very reasonably priced, and some of these pieces are even on sale/clearance. I’m wearing a medium/8 in everything except the black cardigan, which is a small.

Leopard Print TopIt might sound silly, but I consider leopard to be a basic. It pairs well with almost every color, and I like mixing it up a little with a completely different print, like stripes.  This top in particular is pretty awesome because it looks great on its own. But, to tone it down a bit, just toss on a cardigan, blazer or jacket. To dress it up, throw on some bling jewelry and high heels, and you have a more “going out” type of look. This top was a bit sheer, so I would recommend wearing a cami underneath.

Striped BlazerYou know I love my stripes, so when I laid eyes on this blazer, I couldn’t resist. It has the perfect amount of stretch to it, and you can size up if you want to wear it buttoned. I like wearing mine open, so I prefer it to be a bit more fitted. You can really wear any color top underneath (like this black solid crepe cami), but don’t feel tied down to to solid colors only. Mix it up with print like leopard or polka dots. Pair this with blazer with khakis, black pants, white denim or jeans.

The Perfect CardiganI can’t say enough about this cardigan. It’s the perfect length, the perfect fit, and it’s incredibly soft. You really can’t go wrong with a basic black cardigan. I size down in this as I find the sleeves are bit long for my short arms.

Skinny Ankle PantsGive me a pair of pull-on pants with no buttons and a stretchy waist, and I’ll be one happy camper! These olive skinny pants slide right on and are very flattering. They’re pretty high waisted and have an invisible side zipper. I was able to pull them on without using the zipper. This olive color pairs well with so many things that I already have in my closet along with some of my other purchases from this shipping trip (like this gray top). I hope they offer more colors in the future.

Striped Tank:Can’t stop, won’t stop with the stripes you guys. This cute little tank is great on its own for a night out or weekend, but it’s perfect for layering under a blazer or cardigan for work. I love v-necks too, so this tank hit the spot! Pair with a pair of black or khaki chinos or colored denim.

Skinny Chinos:These were on sale for $15! I’m wearing them in tan, which is very similar to a khaki. I was pleasantly surprised with the length because I usually have a hard time with pants being too long, but these were great!

Printed Blouse:I paused for a second before grabbing this off the rack because the print was a bit much for me, but I liked the style of this sleeveless blouse. It pairs so nicely with olive pants and I could see a white cardigan brightening the outfit up a bit.

Floral Blouse:You can’t go wrong with a black and white blouse and this floral one is just gorgeous. Aside from being able to wear this top with a variety of pants, it would look great tucked into a pencil skirt. I would definitely wear this with a pair of white jeans too.

Striped V Neck Pullover:I’m a girl who loves my stripes and this was on sale for only $12 so I had to grab it. I feel like this is the perfect casual pullover, but still professional enough to wear to work.

Square Neck Floral Blouse:How pretty is this for spring? I happen to be wearing these blue pants when I tried this top on, and it was a match made in heaven! I love the square cut neckline of this top. Very flattering.

Just For Fun Dress:

I had to give this one a shot. I’m always a little hesitant on these midi dresses because I’m only 5’3. I would definitely like this dress more if I was wearing heels or wedges. I do love the tie detail on the straps, and how cute is the polka dot print? It comes in stripes too, but we know I don’t need any more stripes in my closet!

Flats:I love these flats and own them in black too. For me, they’re comfortable and I can wear them all day teaching. They’re so versatile… I swear the go with everything. Size down if in between.
