Another round-up this month and, again, Walmart does not disappoint! Not all of these looks are for the classroom, but with summer just around the corner (we’re almost there teachers!!!), I know some of you may be looking to spruce up your summer wardrobe, BUT that does not mean you have to break the bank! Here are some trendy, affordable summer looks. Oh- and if you missed it…check out my Walmart Spring Round-UpWalmart Swim and Beachwear.

Midi Teacher Dress

So, I may have altered the name of this dress, but I had to! I received so many compliments on this dress when I wore it to school, from co workers and students! I am usually not a fan of  midi dresses, because I’m 5’3, but I’ve found that if I wear them with wedges or heels, I can pull it off. (wearing a small)

$6 Tank

Confession: After this one came in the mail, I may have ordered two more! These tanks come in multiple patterns and solid colors and are great to wear alone or under a cardigan or blazer. There’s not a ton of stretch to them, so order your normal size, or size up if you have a larger bust. (wearing a medium)

T-Shirt Dress

Say hello to the softest, most comfortable dress of the season! The word “slinky” comes to mind because it’s so light and airy. It was a little too casual to wear to work on its own, but I tossed my white denim jacket on (currently sold out online) and a pair of wedges, and viola… work ready! (wearing a small)

Twist Front Tee and Distressed Shorts

I posted this top in aqua on my last Walmart round-up, and I loved it so much that I bought it in black… because you can never have to many black and white striped clothes, right?!? These shorts had just enough stretch to them, and I loved the small distressed details. (wearing a small in the shirt and an 8 in the shorts)

2Fer Dress and Kimono

This dress got a lot of love when I posted it last week on my Facebook page, and rightfully so. It’s too stinkin’ cute, and it takes all the guesswork out of finding what matches what and where to buy it and so on… I love that the dress and kimono can be worn separately too. This comes in a few other color/pattern options that are equally as adorable. (wearing a medium for extra length)

Polka Dot Tie Waist Shorts

I’m really trying to embrace the high-waisted trend, but I’m still a little iffy. For me, polka dots are a second runner up to stripes, so I knew I had to at least order these to see how they fit. The verdict? I actually like them! I need to size down to a small because they were a bit too loose unless I really tied them super tight. (wearing a medium)

Floral Peasant Dress

I feel like this could be more of a fall dress, but I still like it nonetheless. The length was great and very appropriate for the classroom. The pattern is pretty and it comes in other options too. (wearing a small)

Seersucker Popover Top

I was nervous that this top would be see-through, but it wasn’t! I love the neutral striped pattern as well as the way this top fits. I’m wearing it with navy pants, but it would look great with khakis too! (wearing a small)

Sleeveless Shift Dress

I thought I was being very clever ordering two of these dresses (the gray in a small and the blue in a medium) to see which one fit better and which I liked best. Jokes on me… I wasn’t a fan. The dress itself is nice, but I did not like how it looked on me… just not very flattering. This one’s going back! (wearing a small in the gray and a medium in the blue)

Textured Lace-Up Tank

I’m loving this bright coral color… it’s perfect for summer. I paired this with black pants and a cardigan for work, but I will wear this with black or denim shorts in the summer, a pair of flip flops, and hopefully a tan, lol. (wearing a small)

Embroidered Top

How pretty is this top? I’m loving that I can pair this with with a variety of colored pants (including these frayed ankle pants or jeans. (wearing a small)

Shoes

True story… I’ve worn all of these shoes to work. Yep, all day on my feet teaching. . Here’s the verdict… The white sneakers are amazing and I could quite possibly run a marathon in them (if I ran). No blisters or breaking them in. The tan wedges took a little time to break in. By the end of the first day, my left heel was starting to hurt a bit but they are fine now and I can wear them throughout the day! The taupe ruffle wedges were amazing once I figured the right adjustment for the ankle strap. It was a bit to tight and the buckle was rubbing on my ankle bone, but as soon a I loosened it up, all was good!
