Weekly Roundup: First Day of School Edition

It’s that time of year again! If you haven’t had it already, your first day of school is definitely coming up soon! I don’t know about you but I always love having the first day of school outfit perfectly picked out. Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted a first day of school outfit that really felt like me! For this weeks round up, I selected a variety of first day of school outfits that are sure to wow on your first day!

Neutral Basics

First up I have a fan favorite – neutral basics! You absolutely cannot go wrong with this combination and can be mixed and matched with so many other pieces in your wardrobe. The comfortable sandals are a look-alike of a much more expensive brand and oh so comfortable for those long days in the classroom! Add in the gold jewelry and you are all set!

Elle Woods Inspired

You can’t tell me you weren’t inspired by Elle Woods in law school at least once growing up. This outfit just screams Elle Woods if she were a teacher. The gold headband is too cute and can turn any basic hairstyle into something a little more elevated. Pair this with the heels pictured here or the sandals pictured above for a more comfortable shoe option. Side note- can you believe these designer inspired bracelets come in a three pack for less than $20?

A Pop of Print

I absolutely love throwing in a pop of print with a more neutral outfit! Leopard print continues to be such a popular trend year after year and this belt is just perfect. Having a good quality chambray shirt in your clothing repertoire is never a bad idea either! Chambray shirts are so versatile and can truly be worn in any season.

The Best Black Pants

So many beautiful pieces here and they are all on sale! These Marc Fisher booties are a fan favorite and at Nordstrom rack you will get them for significantly less than you would at a typical department store. And who doesn’t love a good deal on Kendra Scott?! Pairing these two staple pieces with a simple, yet elegant blouse and of course the best black jeans makes for a perfect first day outfit!

Classy Camel and Cream!

Okay this outfit might be my favorite! I absolutely love this classic tan blazer from J.Crew factory! It has been a staple there for years and for good reason. Pairing this with some beautiful cream and blush tones is such a classy way to dress up for your first day of school! I am a sucker for a statement earring and again we have another deal on Kendra Scott here! Don’t miss these gorgeous earrings to pair with this beautiful outfit for your first day!
